Make A Day
Change The Way You Approach Things
We've all been there before, at the end of a conversation with someone, we say "have a great day!". Pretty typical right? That's great! Be positive, bring some joy into other's lives', always. But maybe there is a better way to end a conversation.
What I want you to think about is, what if, instead of ending a conversation and leaving the person having a good day up to chance, how about you empower them and tell them MAKE a great day?
No matter how your day goes, how you react to it determines what the outcome is. You can have the worst day where nothing is going right at work, your boss is on you, traffic is horrible, etc. but if you choose to take each opportunity and learn from it, it can change your whole outlook on your day.
"Easier said than done."
Guarantee that is something a lot of you are thinking, and I'm not saying it's easy. Just as with training your body, you have to be consistent in order to get results, your mind and thinking pattern work the same way. In the end, the only thing or person that can control how you react to things is YOU.
Changing your mindset for one little thing can lead to you thinking differently about everything and you will start to see things in a different light. More opportunities will present themselves where you have a chance to be the difference. Too many people are always so quick to react and not think about things, be different, think things through, see things in a different way than everybody. Then, show somebody else a new way of thinking to reduce stress in your life and theirs. It's empowering.
And that's the goal here: Empower people. Get them thinking differently and to quit leaving how their day goes up to chance. MAKE it a great day, don't just let it be A DAY.
Teach someone to think differently and you can possibly change their life.
